Rovia is a 24 year old, full service, ARC/IATAN agency, affiliated with Putman Travel. Offices are located in South Carolina & Texas. They supply a pre-approval lead program along with on-going web based training and live regional events. Rovia belongs to a cruise consortium which provides higher commissions. They are a member of ASTA, ARTA, OSSN and CLIA. Rovia offers technology and support to help an Independent Agent grow a successful travel business.
By selecting Rovia and completing the TravelCampus training you can become a Booking Travel Agent (BTA) and move up to a Travel Reservation Specialist (TRS). BTA's have access to vendors, booking tools, back office reports and a variety of other tools to book and manage a variety of travel products. Once progressing to the TRS level access to a Global Distribution System (GDS) will be added to allow direct bookings for air travel. Currently Worldspan is recommended, although Sabre and Apollo are also available.
Rovia registration is a one time charge of $499.00, plus $100.00 for a background check. There is a monthly fee for BTAs and TRSs.
